ACHTUNG: Leider ist bei der gestrigen Luftfahrtveranstaltung auf dem Flugplatz in Alkersleben ein tragisches Unglück eingetreten, das zum Tod eines Piloten geführt hat. Unser Mitgefühl gilt den Angehörigen und Bekannten des tödlich verunglückten Piloten. Die Veranstaltung ist für Sonntag den 29.04.2012 abgesagt.

Die Veranstaltungsreihe “Großflugtage” wusste von Anbeginn an neue Akzente zu setzen. Die Vielseitigkeit des Programms, welches die Besucher unserer Events in der Vergangenheit erwartete und auch in diesem Jahr aufs Neue erwartet, unterscheidet die Großflugtage von Flugtage-Veranstaltungen vergleichbarer Größe. In den letzten Jahren konnten die Gäste über ein Airrace der anderen Art staunen. In Kopf an Kopf-Duellen gaben sich wegemutige Kunstflug-Piloten aus ganz Deutschland mit bis zu 400 km/h die Sporen und flogen um die Wette einen 1200m langen Parcours in nur 30m Höhe und kaum 150m vom Publikum entfernt. Für 2012 erwartet alle Flugbegeisterten ein Flair von Airrace, und zwar so, wie man den Begriff in den Medien eigentlich wahrnimmt.
