Description of Kemble Battle of Britain Weekend 2012

A much more laid back event than the Air day incorparating a small air display, hanger displays and a fly-in. Kemble used to be a huge RAF maintenance base but today is a civilian airfield which is home to an established flying club and other operators including the Delta Jets fleet which is based here and regularly fly their Hunters at Airshows. An amazing array of historic aircraft can also be seen at the Bristol Aero Collection Museum at Kemble. Kemble has several events during the year including the popular Kemble Air Day in June, Fly-ins, and Open Days. Airshow called Kemble Battle of Britain Weekend starts 18 September 2012 and will take 2 days. This military air show is taking place at Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire, UK, GL7 6PJ.
